Laurent Taisne is a French Scientist PhD in physical chemistry. Before founding his company, Laurent was an executive at L’Oréal Research and Development, he founded and managed the China makeup R&D and then built the Open Development of the L’Oréal group : network of products & technologies suppliers. Laurent and his teams have developed ‘hero’ products for l’oreal’s brands, such as its first BB cream, first Cushion Foundation and blockbuster lipstick and lip balms.

Located in Shanghai he launched Totemist, West-East, and Object-Digital. Laurent strongly believes that at the interface of progress is discovery.
